The Bambola armchair, part of the Le Bambole collection, was originally designed in 1972 and won the Compasso d'Oro Award in 1979. An icon of timeless contemporanity and one of the most effective expressions of Made in Italy, Le Bambole combines research and creative flair to provide a very personal answer to the theme of the chair. What makes them special is the apparent lack of load-bearing construction, the extremely natural shape, and the combination of comfort, softness and elasticity conveyed by their appearance. The original structure was based on a metal structure embedded with polyurethane, and the material now used is the latest generation, starting from recycled polyethylene to the structure. It is a sustainable project due to the choice of materials and construction methods, allowing the components of Le Bambole to be completely disassembled and therefore easily recycled.
